Las Piedras History   

Las Piedras is located on PR road 30, between Gurabo on the west and Humacao to the east.

The fertile plains of Las Piedras made it a likely location for agriculture in its early history. In recent times, many manufacturing plants have moved in, giving a boost to the economy of this town of 30,000 inhabitants.

The patron saint for Las Piedras is "La inmaculada concepción de María", celebrated on December 8
